I have several years experience in SEO-optimized editing and writing. Thanks to my time in onboarding, I've worked with freelance and in-house writing teams in industries like: healthcare education, B2B marketing, industrial manufacturing, and facilities management.

I've also had success in writing white-paper-style copy for clients for their websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media releases. 

SEO Informed Editing and writing

SEO content marketing can get a bad rap, and not without reason. Too much of the content that's produced is overstuffed with keywords and provides little to no value to the intended readers. 

​

This kind of content may bring you a small amount of increased traffic for a short time, but not only is it unlikely to bring in new leads, it's also likely to get filtered out by Google's algorithm.

 

You'll never be able to stay ahead of Google's engineers, so by far, the better choice is to learn to produce content that it deems worthy of the first page. 

 

Thankfully, content that their A.I. can read is also content that's easy for real humans to read.

SEO editing is part art and part science, but in the end, SEO is just another tool to help keep you in touch with your audience.

At my last position, I was able to bring in over 13 million new organic views in less than a year of publishing. Each month brings in an average of 1.4 million new people to our website, with an upward trend.
